This project is a particularly personal one, as it deals with my own experiences of grief and trauma. It is a series of acrylic gouache paintings addressing my feelings about the deaths of two family members and the complex aftermath of tragedy. Although this began as a personal form of therapeutic release, I hope these pieces speak to others who have had similar experiences.
